Timothy Barnthouse, CPA
Tim Barnthouse is a California Certified Public Accountant and the founder of Barnthouse & Associates, LLP, a California-licensed public accounting firm. With more than twenty-five years of experience, Tim specializes in federal and multistate taxation and has formed and managed numerous captive insurance companies for his clientele, beginning with a large public corporation in 2000 when he was a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from San Diego State University, Magna Cum Laude, with distinction in accounting. He was the recipient of the Elijah Watt Sells Award for submitting meritorious papers for the November 1991 Certified Public Accountant’s Examination. He began his career in San Diego with KPMG, LLP and spent eleven years with the Big Four firms, before founding his own firm.
Tim serves as MediCaptive’s Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial, legal and insurance-related activities, both day-to-day and strategic.
